Hello
I’m an economist with a background in corporate finance and innovation management. Over the past years, I’ve dedicated my research and professional journey to understanding how innovation works in the real world—especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups.
My goal is to help SME and startup entrepreneurs connect, collaborate, and thrive in today’s fast-moving business landscape. By sharing practical insights and building bridges between innovators, I hope to contribute to a more open and connected innovation ecosystem.
My Story
I’m Hungarian, originally from Transylvania, but life’s journey led me to South Tyrol—a place I’ve come to truly appreciate and call my second home.
One of the greatest luxuries in life, I believe, is the ability to travel. I’ve been fortunate to visit several countries and plan to explore many more. Every trip teaches me something new—about cultures, people, and perspectives. That’s why I find South Tyrol so fascinating: it’s a hidden treasure, offering the best of both Austrian and Italian lifestyles. This unique blend makes the region incredibly dynamic, both culturally and economically.
Along the way, I had the opportunity to study at the University of Innsbruck. When I first began my research about open innovation, the literature and case studies overwhelmingly focused on corporate giants. My work was among the first to highlight how open innovation can benefit SMEs. In today’s rapidly changing environment, SMEs can’t afford to innovate alone. Open innovation is no longer optional—it’s essential. By embracing partnerships, especially with startups, SMEs can unlock new growth and stay competitive.
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege to meet and observe hardworking entrepreneurs in South Tyrol—people who are passionate about building something meaningful in a complex and changing world. I want to support them by sharing the opportunities that open innovation can offer. Whether it’s collaborating with startups, adopting new technologies, or rethinking business models—innovation can unlock powerful growth, especially for SMEs.
Beyond my professional interests, I’m passionate about the outdoors—hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and just being in nature. I also love reading and diving into the world of new technologies. Innovation, startups, and AI aren’t just academic interests for me—they’re topics I actively follow and care about.
Through this platform, I hope to inspire, connect, and empower the next wave of innovators in South Tyrol and beyond.
